Control System for Plastics Molding Machines
For Stork Plastics Machinery, Locamation developed and delivered control systems for very fast high quality Plastics Molding Machines (150 to 2200 tons). Thanks to this control system, the company broke the speed limit of two seconds cycle time on a 200 tons machine with only three software engineers. Our collaboration with SPM started in the late eighties.
Embedded Controller Technology
Together with a chemical company, Locamation has developed the IF030, Ultra small-embedded controller. Thanks to Locamation technical integration, this controller is fully customised and offers a very successful solution. The new embedded controller fulfils all requirements, using Locamation unique embedded ARTOS real-time operating system. Thanks to Locamation, the last few years this company's sales in special instruments have considerably grown.
Advanced Monitoring System for Railways
A major Rail Infra Company needed a high quality Industrial Computer for an advanced monitoring system. Together with this company, Locamation developed a fully customised and ruggedised product that fulfils all the requirements, such as EMC requirements, extended temperature range (-20°C to +70°C), fanless operation, railways and its universal EN50155 standards.
The system has been developed into a universal monitoring shell around the railway tracks and is now allowing a stable rail infrastructure, reducing the number of train delays. The system is currently being employed for monitoring points and can be extended to include other (track) objects.
